Career Profile
Hi, My name is Alireza Dehghanzadeh. I’m a graduated M.Sc. student from University of Tehran in field of Biosystem Engineering. I like whatever I chose! My bachelor degree, my hobby (Cybersecurity), my life-style and so on. I’m proud of working with greatest agricutural group at University of Tabriz during my bachelor degree. I have experience in Linux, Git, Cybersecurity, coding in Python and Bash scripting, working with Docker, JavaScript and NodeJS.
Working on cybersecurity, in particular Web application security, as a hobby.
Education
Consisted of 5 semesters (3 lecture based + 2 research based). The first 3 semesters holded during coronavirus lock-down.
Some of noteworthy lectures are:
- Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning)
- Limit Element Method
- Automatic Control Systems
First, I had started learning fundementals of Electric Circuts under supervising of Dr. Hossein Behfar. After several month, due to exiting of my co-workers, I decided to involve to another group. Shortly, I started working with Precision Agriculture group which I’m proud of it. (details in experience section below)
A great course that I had was Maintenance Engineering, taught by Prof. Hamid Reza Ghassemzadeh. If I want to name a course which I understood what is engineering (and also Biosystems), that’s it.
Highlighted courses which I’d like to share:
- Computer Programming (C programming language)
- Mechanical Engineering Design
- Maintenance Engineering
- Measuring and Control tools
- Arduino
- Measurment tools
- Electrical circuits
Experiences
Researching on Machine Learning models to refine Reconstructed ECT images. (Electrical Capacitance Tomography) My master thesis recommended by supervisor, Dr. Hossein Mousazadeh based on my experience. Based on project by Port & Maritine Orginization of Iran. Main skills involved is:
- Machine Learning
- Image Processing
- Programming skills
- Python
- C# (to be able to read written codes)
- Mathematics (Understanding ETC reconstruction algorithms aspects)
Under supervising of Dr Hossein Navid and advise of Dr Hadi Karimi. I worked on 2 project during several month before Coronavirus (second project continued during coronavirus remotely):
- Remote Controller for Silage Block Cutting Machine Remote
- Arduino Programming
- Electrical circuits
- Control systems
- Pipe cuttig decision system based in image processing using Raspberry Pi
- Linux (Raspbian is a Debian-based OS)
- Python
- Image Processing
Certifications
You need to understand computers to work with them. This course extend my knowledge about computer a bit and it did not take me a long time. It was a good start point to continue taking CS50 bundle.
Build predictive models with scikit-learn and gain a practical understanding of the strengths and limitations of machine learning! (link to course)
After learning basics of Machine learning, now its time to hands-on experience and expand knowledge with practicing. The goal of this course is to teach machine learning with scikit-learn to beginners, even without a strong technical background.
Machine learning course taught by Prof. Andrew Ng, Associate professor at Stanford University.
I believe learning basics is the most important point of acquiring knowledge. This course tought me perfect ML basics alongside whatever I learnt from AI course by Dr. Mahmoud Omid in Univesity of Tehran. (There is a free Standford course in Youtube which is close to Coursera course but Youtube’s is a little harder and goes deeper in Mathematical details.)
Projects
Team projects lead to acquiring new knowledge while working on real projects lead to acquiring deeper knowledge. It's not all about knowledge, it's about personality, mentality and so on.
